In 2010 the White Ribbon Ride will visit over 40 communities throughout the North Island with more than 200 riders taking part. At each destination riders will be met with events, rallies, sausage sizzles, forums and hakas – all designed to promote the anti-violence message in their communities. Any bikers are welcome to join the ride for as long or as short a distance as they are able – the only stipulation is that they are licensed and there is no wearing of any patches or affiliated colours. The Zonta Club of Mangawhai in conjunction with the Bream Bay Community Trust has organised the ride to come to Mangawhai on Saturday, November 27th The ride will be led by the Patriot Motorcycle Club and Super Maori Fullas, brothers who use the visibility and mobility of their bikes to encourage all New Zealanders to show that they are against domestic violence. They are responsible for the safety of the ride, speaking to media and representing the riders at the community events.

On the final day, Saturday, November 27th the ride will leave from Bream Bay and follow a round trip to Mangawhai arriving around 11.am at the Mangawhai Domain
