Harvest time!

An exciting new look heralds the opening of Harvest cafe under the management of chef Kris Malcolm. Originally from Palmerston North Kris and his young family recently moved from Melbourne where he was head chef of the famous Hairy Canary in Collins St. He comes to us directly from the well known BRD (Benson Rd Deli) in Auckland and brings his considerable experience and flair to benefit the taste buds of Managwhai. Harvest is situated at Naja Garden Centre on Molesworth Drive and will be open 7 days a week, commencing Monday, July 26th. Harvest will be serving a delicious all day breakfast and lunch menu together with yummy light snacks and of course a full range of coffee and beverages. So reap your rewards at Harvest and check it out!

Sporting a brand new sign to brighten up the outside of the shop and to promote the coastal theme of Mangawhai. On a recent trip through Tirau, Terry and Sue were most impressed with the look of the town where the corrugated sculptures of the ‘Iron Man’, Steve Clothier enhance the community and businesses alike. So they visited the workshop of Steve and Sheryn whose enthusiasm and expertise were infectious, resulting in the installation of the Naja sign last week.
