Palmers Garden Ramble 2015

The date is set for Sat 14th & Sun 15th, November.

Mark it on your calendar now!
P
lanning for the 2015 Palmers Planet Mangawhai Garden Ramble is underway, some of our most popular gardens from previous years have agreed to be on show again and our team are working hard to find something new too. We are also very lucky to announce the continued sponsorship from Palmers Planet! A big thanks to the Palmers Planet team for their support.

We are able to confirm our 20th garden to be included in our 2015 line up.
There's something old, something new, there's big and bold and beautiful too. We wish all our gardeners a forgiving winter as they muck in and prepare to put their piece of paradise on show. We couldn't do it without your support! There is always room for more though so anyone keen to be involved this year, there is still time.

Contact the Mangawhai Kindergarten on 09 4314333 or comment on Facebook to get in touch with the Garden Ramble team.

Mangawhai Golf Club

Tom Bonnington Cup
ROBBIE NEWMAN-900Renowned for the quality of its greens, Mangawhai golf course was in exceptional condition for the Tom Bonnington Trophy event played in fine conditions over the weekend of May 16 & 17. For the first time in Bonnington history, an Elite Women's division was held and played host to golfers from across Northland, North Harbour and Auckland – possibly the best womens field to have played at Mangawhai. Stewart Speed and his organising committee did an outstanding job in co-ordinating every aspect of the event, along with John Donnelly and his greens team, Lisa and her catering, and other volunteers. Trophy winners were Robbie Newman of Mangawhai and Kylie Jacoby of Waipu.

The Tom Bonnngton Cup for Elite Men, will be staged later this year at Mangawhai.
