16 April 2018 - 17 April 2018 , 09:30 AM until 02:30 PM
Spending time in a workshop is always of benefit, whatever age you are. For children these workshops are a chance to handle reals and equipment, learn to do so safely and come away with a tangible product to be proud of. For those who already have a passion for making things, each of these days will be an opportunity to master new techniques and machinery with expert guidance. Come alone or with a friend and be assured that you will leave with a new view of your own abilities.
Back by popular demand.
Make one or more wooden toys depending on ability and time available.
Choose from clmbing animal, block puzzle, seaplane or/and spinning top. Challenge yourself to master the scroll saw, the sander and the art of pyrography.
The only rule is....that it cannot be a simple box. Think quirky, fun …borderline silly.
Younger makers may use a simple plan, older/able makers will be encouraged to bring creativity to their build.
Each will be unique, each one-of-a-kind.
